Antioch Faculty

I'm teaching the counseling section of the Antioch Graduate Certificate Program in Asperger's/HFA and we're off to a terrific start.  I'll be podcasting some conversations with students who are all educators, counselors and/or parents.  Some of the faculty took a much needed lunch break at Elm City Bagels across the street from Antioch New England Graduate School:

In addition to Antioch administrator and Program organizer, Shelley Viles, I was joined by several of the contributors to the Baker and Welkowitz book, Asperger's Syndrome:  Intervening in Schools, Clinics and Communities.    Thanks to Elsa Abele, Teresa Bolick, Traci Gillman and others for joining us.

John's blog

Antioch grad student john has started and interesting blog with comments about PDD-NOS.  Please check out John's site.

Dan Gilmour has been of the alternative media folks writing about Katrina and the politics of reporting the real story.  Here in Keene, New Hampshire I speak to lots of folks on and off campus who have strong opinions about Katrina, the economy, racism, the war and generally about the status of the world.  People seem to be bursting with opinions and ideas.  But, alas, the voices we hear are largely from mainstream media (CNN, ABC, Fox, etc.).   So, I've started up Asperger's Conversations with a diversion from Asperger's/HFA to bring you "Voices From Keene."  I posted a notice that I would be podcasting an informal discussion on "The State of The World" from the Prime Roast coffee shop in Keene, NH.  A gaggle of folks, some from the College, some from town, gathered today to voice their opinions.  Many thanks to John and Judy, the owners of Prime Roast, for turning down the music so I could record today's conversations.
